I am searching for assessment instruments for individuals with disabilites....I am aware of the Micro tower and the AAMD.....could you recommend where I can find other instruments used with this population. The majority of the children that I work with are in the special education setting and their needs are not met in that setting. I would like to advocate for the appropriate services to be provided for these children and would like to know what should be available to them before I "push" for more to be done by the counselors and teachers. I do not believe that career issues are being addressed...according to the children....in their classroom settings. Any suggestions?

In our career class we covered several theories of career development. The feminist theory is now being discussed in psychosocial development, but I am unaware of it being applied to career development. Do you have any information on this theory as it relates to career counseling?
